Easter family breaks

With Easter just round the corner, many of us are looking to a break from work or from education. This is a popular time for families to go on holiday, but the weather in the UK very unpredictable, it is a good idea to have some indoor activities planned. If you are staying on a camp site then you could do a simple Easter egg hunt. It may be that you hide the eggs within your tent or caravan or even around the campsite and give your child clues to find them.

Indoor play areas are often great places to spend rainy days. They usually cost between £1- £5 per child but often can entertain them for hours, whilst also giving the parents time to sit down with a cup of tea.

Prices for holiday resorts do tend to increase over the Easter holidays, so if you can go a week before or a week after then you may be able to save yourself some money and also go at a time that is less busy. Although this may mean that you miss out on some of the events that are often only put on during school holidays.
